Quotes & Successes

Coach Stan & Brandon
"Brandon came to me in May of 2007 throwing 74 MPH. After doing our Increase Velocity Program for 4 months, Brandon was topping out at 80 MPH on the Stalker Radar. This was an increase of 6 MPH in only four months. This shows what our Increase Velocity Program can do for you."
Former PRO & Owner Stan Switala

Here are some quotes from people who recommend Top Speed Baseball…

"When I first joined Top Speed I did not know what I was getting into. I soon learned that Coach Switala and his team was the best thing I have done in my baseball career! He coaches with great knowledge and respect for the game. He will improve your game physically and mentally. I would not have the success I have today with out him. He has the tools and connections to get you to the next level if your willing to put in the time and work. I'm living proof; he helped me with my swing and got me a baseball scholarship in a matter of months to Cal State Monterey. If you are looking to better yourself and take your game to the next level Coach Switala and his team is the best thing for you!" Randall Packard, Cal State Monterey Baseball Player

"Stan Switala was one of the most fierce competitors I have ever seen in my coaching career.  He wasn't afraid of any hitter or any situation, which allowed him to have the success he did.  I know Stan will carry this attitude over to his teaching, with his genuine desire to make his players the best they can be." Jake Boss Jr., Michigan State University Head Baseball Coach

"Stan Switala has a great passion for the game.  He is a fierce competitor with great skills… a winning combination anywhere.  I had the fortune of having Stan play for me during the 1997 season at Farmingdale University.  He led the team, with a MVP performance, to a regional playoff berth.  As my assistant, I had enough confidence in his teaching skills, that I gave him the sole responsibility of working with the pitchers on improving their mechanics and with the entire team as their batting instructor.  So why not let him teach your son?" Ken Rocco, Former Farmingdale University Head Baseball Coach (35 years as Head Coach).

"As a college coach, I greatly appreciate and respect the credibility Coach Switala brings to the recruiting process. His extensive baseball background coupled with his commitment to develop young players makes him a key connection for potential players in our program. I know I can contact Stan at any time to assess player talent in his area. Two of his former players will be in our program this fall." Mike Laird, William Penn University Head Baseball Coach

"Coach Switala has immensely impacted my life on and off the field. While he has spent countless hours sharing his knowledge of the game with me, he has also taught me commitment, discipline, and hard work. He has helped me with my swing and also with my arm strength. I am currently attending William Penn University on an Athletic Scholarship thanks to Coach Switala. Because of him, I am now in a great position to continue my baseball career, as well as receive a great education." Brad Chin, William Penn University Baseball Player

"As a college player, you always want to play at the highest level against the best competition. Coach Switala gave me that opportunity by playing for Top Speed Baseball. Week after week we played the best teams and players. He also helped me improve my game by improving not only my physical skills, but also with the mental aspect of the game. Playing for Coach Switala and Top Speed Baseball was the best decision I made in my baseball career."  Spencer Kennedy, Oglethorpe University Baseball Player

"Stan was an intense and passionate player that never settled for second best. He is now dedicated to bringing out these characteristics in his clients. That is why his clients will become competitors."  Dan Hyott, Former Eastern Michigan University teammate and former PRO with Kalamazoo Kings.

“As parents we all strive to see our boys reach the highest level of baseball possible. Through the years we as parents spend thousands of dollars on equipment, select teams, American Legion and sending our kids to camps and showcases. All in the hopes that some college will see and offer our child a scholarship to attend college and play baseball. One very important rung in the wheel of success is the Coach. The Coach must have the contacts, the know how, and the interest in finding a college for your kid to play. Make no mistake about it, Coach Stan Switala is that coach. Coach Switala has scouts at every game as well as numerous others in phone contact. In mid summer season of 2010, Coach Switala asked me what my son’s plans were for the up coming season. I told Coach Stan that I had hoped to find a college for my son to attend and play baseball. Stan told me that my son had the ability to play at the NCAA Division 2 level and if I wanted him to, he would make a few phone calls to make that happen. I was excited and proud to have a coach believe in my son as Coach Switala did. Approximately one week later my son received a phone call from Coach Porter at Texas A&M International. Coach Porter told my son he was very interested in him and would be watching him. Nearing then end of the season Coach Porter made my son a formal offer of 60% athletic scholarship to come play baseball for him in Texas. My son accepted the offer and signed his Letter of Intent. The bottom line is this, if you want to play for an extremely motivated, capable and knowledgeable coach with an unprecedented winning record, look at Top Speed baseball and Stan Switala. He is the real deal and if you want to play in college, he will get you there. Dreams to play at higher levels of baseball can come true with help from the right people. Coach Switala is, "the right people". Thank You Coach Switala, without your help my son may have never reached his dream to play NCAA baseball. Your efforts will never be forgotten in my home.”

"I just wanted to take the time to thank you. Thank you for helping my son become one of the best if not THE best hitter in our AAA league. There are around 100 kids in this league and he is the only one I have seen hit a ball just under 300 ft. The way you broke down the swing mechanics and explained not just to him but to me as well was truly amazing. I am not sure who is learning more, me or him. You are a very talented and gifted coach. I have already used some of the techniques you have taught us with the kids on the team and it was instant progress. I am looking forward to the years ahead of us training with you. I know without a doubt that you can help Jake take his dream all the way. I am very grateful to have found a coach like you." James Salinero

"Stan Switala dramatically improved my son's pitching velocity in about 6 sessions. Stan's in-depth knowledge and experience has helped my son become a better pitcher and improve his overall confidence on the field and off the field.   My Son is currently a Senior in High School on the varsity baseball team.  My son thoroughly enjoys working with Stan.  Stan has been great to work with.   We live about 60 miles away from Stan.  When it comes to pitching coaches, we have lots of other choices that are closer to us.  We make the trip to see Stan because he is the BEST Pitching Coach in the bay area we have worked with."  Stoney Meagher
