Top Speed dropped 3 games this past weekend to the top ranked San Luis Obispo Blues from the California Collegiate League. Top Speed had the lead in Game #1 and Game #3, but was unable to hold the lead in both games. Scores of the three games were as followed, 5-3, 3-1 and 7-3. “Our guys played a tough road series against one of the best collegiate summer teams in the country.” says Head Coach Switala. “SLO Blues play in the top rated California Collegiate League and finished the season last year ranked #16th in the entire country last year out of all the collegiate teams in the country, so it was tough weekend, but it should make us well prepared for league play.”
Top Speed now travels to play the Bend Elks of the West Coast League, first pitch Tuesday at 6:35pm in Oregon.
