Top Speed Signs 5 More Division One Players for 2013

November 16, 2012 – Top Speed has signed 5 more players to their Collegiate Summer Team for 2013.  Top Speed will be competing in the nationally ranked Far West League.

Tyler Mautner is a 6’2, 220lb big slugging third basemen from the University of Buffalo.  Tyler is orginally from Sherill, NY and will look to handle 3B and hit in the middle of the Top Speed order for the summer of 2013.  Tyler hit .367 for the Bulls, before getting hurt and having to medical redshirt for the season.

Neal Jacobs will be coming to California for summer and looks to bring his powerful bat and add some more pop to Top Speed’s already power hitting line up.  Neal is an outfielder for Central Michigan University and we are looking for him to be one of our starting outfielders and hit in the top of the line up.

Adam Cline is a 6’3 RHP from Columbia University.  Cline is from Redmond, Washington and will be looked upon to be in the starting rotation this summer for Top Speed Baseball.

Morgan Oliver is a SS/2B from Central Michigan University.  Oliver is from Southern California and we look forward for him coming North to play infield for Top Speed Baseball for 2013.

Cody Demera is a SS from Arkansas Pine Bluff and a Bay Area native.  Cody played for the PWBL Championship Top Speed team in 2012 and was  named  Team MVP.  Demera hit .367 for Top Speed and he will  be Top Speeds lead off batter this year and be the starting SS.
